1. Ethical Responsibilities of Authors

Originality & Plagiarism

All submitted manuscripts must be original and properly cited. MJEMP uses plagiarism detection tools to verify content authenticity. Plagiarism or duplicate submissions are not tolerated.

Authorship Criteria

Only individuals who significantly contributed to the research (e.g., study design, data collection, writing) should be listed as authors. All authors must approve the final version before submission.

Data Accuracy & Transparency

Authors must present accurate, reliable data. Falsified or fabricated data will result in immediate rejection and possible sanctions. Authors may be asked to submit raw data during the review process.

Conflict of Interest Disclosure

All potential conflicts financial, academic, or personal must be clearly disclosed at the time of submission.

Ethical Approval & Consent

Research involving humans or animals must include proper ethical clearance from a recognized board. Informed consent must be obtained and clearly described.

2. Responsibilities of Editors

Editorial Independence

All editorial decisions are based solely on academic merit, originality, and relevance. Editors work independently from commercial or political influence.

Fair & Timely Peer Review

Submissions are reviewed fairly and objectively. Editors ensure a timely, double-blind peer review process without discrimination.

Confidentiality

Editors must protect the confidentiality of submitted work and refrain from sharing unpublished content with unauthorized parties.

Managing Conflicts

Editors must recuse themselves from handling manuscripts where a conflict of interest exists and assign the paper to an impartial colleague.

3. Responsibilities of Peer Reviewers

Objective Review

Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts based on scientific merit and provide clear, constructive feedback. Personal bias or unprofessional comments are unacceptable.

Confidentiality

Manuscripts under review are confidential and must not be shared or used for personal gain.

Disclosure of Conflicts

Reviewers must disclose any potential conflicts of interest and may decline to review when impartiality cannot be maintained.

4. Publisher Responsibilities
