This Publication Ethics Statement outlines the responsibilities and ethical expectations of authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher in ensuring the credibility and scientific value of all articles published in MJCTT.

1. Responsibilities of Authors
A. Originality and Plagiarism
Authors must ensure that all submitted work is original, properly cited, and free from plagiarism. Borrowed text, data, or ideas must be clearly attributed to the original source. MJCTT employs plagiarism detection software to verify content originality before peer review.
B. Authorship Criteria
Only individuals who have made significant intellectual contributions to the research design, data acquisition, analysis, or manuscript writing should be credited as authors. All listed authors must approve the final version of the manuscript and agree to its submission.
C. Data Integrity
Authors must present accurate data and honest results. Fabrication, falsification, or selective reporting of data is strictly prohibited. Editors may request access to raw data during the review process for validation purposes.
D. Conflict of Interest
All potential conflicts of interest financial, academic, institutional, or personal must be disclosed at the time of manuscript submission to ensure transparency and accountability.
E. Ethical Approval
Manuscripts reporting studies involving human participants or animals must include details of ethical approval from a recognized ethics committee or institutional review board. Informed consent must be clearly obtained and documented.
2. Responsibilities of Editors
A. Editorial Independence
Editorial decisions are based solely on the scientific merit, relevance, and originality of the manuscript. Editors operate independently from commercial or political influences.
B. Fair and Timely Review
Editors are responsible for ensuring that all manuscripts receive an impartial, timely, and confidential peer review. No information about a manuscript may be shared outside the review process.
C. Confidentiality and Data Protection
Editors must safeguard the confidentiality of all submissions and protect the privacy of authors during and after the review process.
D. Managing Conflicts of Interest
Editors must recuse themselves from decision-making if they have a conflict of interest with any manuscript under consideration and assign it to another qualified editor.
3. Responsibilities of Reviewers
A. Objective Evaluation
Reviewers must evaluate manuscripts fairly, constructively, and based on scientific merit. Personal or biased criticism is unacceptable.
B. Confidentiality
Manuscripts under review are confidential documents. Reviewers must not share or use any information obtained during the review for personal or academic gain.
C. Disclosure of Conflicts
Reviewers must disclose any conflicts of interest and decline to review manuscripts when impartiality is compromised.
4. Publisher’s Responsibilities
The publisher of MJCTT is committed to ethical scholarly publishing. We support the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) principles, advocate for transparency and data accessibility, and actively uphold the integrity of the scientific record.
5. Handling of Misconduct
Suspected research or publication misconduct will be investigated through the following process:
The concern will be reviewed confidentially by the editorial team.
Authors or reviewers may be asked to submit evidence or clarification.
Confirmed misconduct may result in retraction, correction, or a permanent ban from future submissions.
MJCTT may notify institutional or funding bodies if appropriate.
6. Retraction and Correction Policy
MJCTT ensures the accuracy of the scientific record through the following measures:
Erratum: Issued for minor errors not affecting the study's results or conclusions.
Corrigendum: Author-requested correction of an error in their published work.
Retraction: Issued in cases of significant ethical violations, data falsification, or scientific errors.
All notices will be transparently labeled and linked to the original article.
