Dr. Maya Langston is a board-certified internist and critical care physician with over 15 years of clinical, academic, and editorial experience in acute and emergency medicine. She currently serves as Professor of Acute Internal Medicine at Northeastern School of Medicine and holds the position of Chief Editor at the Journal of Acute Clinical Insights a leading open access journal focused on advancing evidence-based practices in emergency and critical care settings.

Renowned for her work in sepsis management, clinical decision algorithms, and hospital triage systems, Dr. Langston has authored over 70 peer-reviewed publications, multiple book chapters, and clinical guidelines.
